Inside Freedom Intermediate School’s classrooms you can find students intensely discussing the point of view revealed in an author’s choice of vocabulary, excitedly defending their solution to a mathematical task as the most efficient, thoughtfully analyzing the performance of a robotics prototype they have designed, and tracing the impact of a region’s geography to its economic drivers and cultural celebrations.  Students are active in their learning and our teachers are purposeful in creating challenging content and providing support.

In addition to our strong academics, all students experience performing a variety of musical instruments, exploring World Languages, applying Coding skills, practicing visual arts techniques, solving problems in the engineering and design process, and strengthening their physical abilities through skill development and competition.

Our campus provides a number of extracurricular opportunities that include musical performance groups, drama, athletics, and student government.
