Positive Behavior Support

Freedom Intermediate School implements a Positive Behavior Support (PBS) framework to foster a positive and inclusive school culture. Through this program, students are recognized for meeting and exceeding school-wide expectations by earning tickets from teachers and staff members.

Each Friday, a drawing is conducted during morning announcements to reward students who have submitted their tickets. In addition, every four and a half weeks, students have the opportunity to redeem their accumulated tickets for prizes and participate in games during the PBS Celebration. These celebrations are organized by teams and are designed to acknowledge and reinforce students’ ongoing commitment to positive behavior and personal growth.
